Research Degrees
The Faculty offers three types of research degrees, MPhil, PhD and the SJD. A successful MPhil or SJD thesis represent that the candidate’s research displays some originality and demonstrates a sound understanding of the field of financial law and appropriate research methodology. A successful PhD thesis represents original research and a deep understanding of the field of financial law and appropiate research methodology. Successful candidates conduct their research under the supervision of at least one academic member of the Department of Law.
